Journey of Self-Education

Determined to regain control of my financial future, I came upon the journey of self-education in credit repair. For two and a half years, I navigated the complex world of credit repair, learning through a combination of trial and error. I became adept at understanding how credit scores were calculated and the steps to improve them.

Helping Others Build Credit

As a mortgage broker, I discovered a passion for helping others improve their financial situations. I began offering 100% financing zero down loans and creating opportunities for potential customers who were struggling with their credit. Many clients were initially in difficult positions, but as I guided them through the process, I watched the knowledge of credit, and scores rise. Witnessing their progress from having poor or no credit to qualifying for a home loan was immensely gratifying and reinforced my purpose.

Credit & Legal Strategies

The journey this time was much tougher, lasting over three years. This experience brought much frustration, but it fueled my determination to learn even more. You could say, “I utilized legal advice from several attorneys and combined my knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to effectively repair my credit. I attained professional legal guidance with my knowledge of credit reporting laws to achieve this goal.

Family & Reflection

At this stage in my life, I returned near my aging grandmother and help my mom on our family farm. Moving to a small town in Nebraska where I grew up. I take care of my mother and grandmother, fulfilling my role as a son and grandson. During this period, I immersed myself in studying books, taking courses, and analyzing the competition in the credit repair industry.

Birth of Boosted Roosted

Motivated by my experiences and knowledge, I launched Boosted Roosted. With the support of my family, I envisioned a company that would not only repair credit but also educate clients about the credit scoring system.

Dream of Independence

In 1999, I graduated from college with dreams of independence and success. However, reality soon set in as bills piled up and my financial struggles began. It was during this difficult time that I realized the importance of credit and how it could impact my life.

Knowledge into Opportunity

By 2001 my dedication paid off when I had finally stabilized my credit enough to start my own mortgage company Omaha Prime Mortgage, Inc.

2008 Financial Collapse

However, the unexpected housing crisis in 2008 hit my business hard. As major banks faltered, so did my dreams, and I lost everything I had built. It was a challenging time, and once again, I found myself repairing my own credit.

Insurance & Credit Reports

It was at this point my life had taken yet another turn. I passed my insurance licenses and wrote insurance as an independent agent. After several years in the insurance industry, I gained valuable knowledge of credit and various reports that are used to underwrite insurance. Credit again another decisive factor affecting insurance rates.

I come to a quick understanding that quick fixes in credit repair often came at the expense of ethics and legality.
